Alex Marquez will be looking to make it back-to-back victories in the 2025 MotoGP schedule by winning the San Marino and Rimini Riviera MotoGP.

The Ducati BK8 Gresini Racing MotoGP rider claimed a podium spot at the Catalan MotoGP on 7 September, the most recent event on the 2025 MotoGP calendar.
Marquez won the race, but he was forced to retire in the sprint event after being involved in an accident and he picked up 25 points.
MotoGP title ambitions
The Spanish Grand Prix motorcycle racer is still placed second in the 2025 MotoGP Riders' standings, having collected 305 points from 15 races.
Alex is 182 points behind leader Marc Marquez of Ducati and 68 points ahead of third-placed Francesco Bagnaia of Ducati.

Winning the recent Catalan MotoGP has surely boosted the 2014 Moto3 World Championship winner's confidence coming into the San Marino and Rimini Riviera MotoGP.
It is imperative for Marquez to win this weekend's race in order to further close the gap on his brother, Marc, as they battle to be crowned MotoGP champion.
What did he say?
“It’s not easy to have Marc behind you for 24 laps. Many times I say to the guys, ‘don’t put the name [on the pit board], just forget it’," Alex said after winning the 2025 Calatan MotoGP.
“It’s really difficult because he’s a rider that you know will be on the limit, closing the front, the rear, but he will always try. So you are never relaxed when you have Marc behind.
“I was just trying to manage the tyres, manage everything. I did a perfect race, no mistakes. I’m so happy for that and it was the best way to come back to our level.”
